External Bug tracking data in Jira Dashboard

forums-5
Hello all,

I am a QA manager, and I we use testlink to manage our testplans and execution.  We are integrated with JIRA (so Jira tickets can be cross referenced in Testlink failed test cases).  outside of the QA team, no one uses testlink, but many would like to know the status of the testplan.  Most of the engineering team use a Jira dashboard for each of their projects, and I would like to be able to add a gadget to those dashboards that can show the % test cases completion, and status (pass/fail/block).

We also use Confluence, and I have written a groovy script to get the data from my testlink db and display it on confluence (as a graph even), but the confluence->JIRA gadget does not work on Jira 4.0 (which we are using).  I also looked at a SQL plugin on the JIRA dash, but it appears there is nothing like that.

Does anyone have an idea how I can get my data (and ideally my graphs of data) to sit on a dashboard in JIRA when the data is coming from a testlink db?

Thanks for any ideas.

Hi,

I am looking for ways to show testlink reports on confluence and stumbled upon this post.  Do you mind sharing how you are posting the results to Confluence?

Thank you
Jo
